TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I was a college psychology instructor for one year and a home educator for 20 years for my own and friends' children. My writing has been published in magazines, newspapers, and professional journals. I am the author of So You're Not Wonder Woman, The Organized Homeschool Life book and planner, and Grammar Galaxy language arts curricululm. I am also a professional speaker and podcaster.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am an eclectic teacher who draws heavily from a unit study approach as well as research-based strategies. I want learning to be fun and active when possible.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, but the best education I've had has been in home educating my own and friends' children.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am a married mother of six, ages 13 to 23. I've been happily married for 27 years. I podcast at The Homeschool Sanity Show, blog at Psychowith6.com, and sell curriculum at GrammarGalaxyBooks.com. In my free time, I love scrapbooking and playing tennis and pickleball.
