I have taught Developmental Preschool since 2004. Those years have afforded me with life-changing experiences as I strive daily to make a difference in both the families and students that I have the pleasure of teaching.
Teaching students with a wide range of special needs requires lessons that can be adapted easily and allow for lots of interaction with materials. High expectations, lots of repetition and allowing yourself to relax and be silly are the keys to a successful classroom! Visit my lesson planning blog: http://lessonplanningwithme.blogspot.com/
I have earned an award for my work with hearing impaired students.
I earned my Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Indiana University in Bloomington. I also have a Masters in early childhood education with a focus in special education!
We are a military family of five, raising three boys, including a set of twins. They are fun, fun, fun.
