I have worked as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in low income elementary school system for seven years. I am the lead SLP for my district and have created a lot of resources that I am told have been helpful so I wanted to share!
My lessons teach toward grade level content standards aiming to fill the gaps of pre-requisite information need in order for Speech-Language impaired students to be able to communicate and function in the classroom.
$2,000 Grant: "Experience Language: Using Objects and Photographs to Increase Vocabulary Acquisition $2,000 Grant: “What? I Can’t Hear You!” (Using Amplification Systems in the Speech/Language Classroom) $21,750 Grant: "Classroom Amplification Systems: Increasing Attention and Decreasing the Number of Special Education Referrals"
I received my MA in Communicative Disorders at a reputable ASHA accredited University in Southern California. I have my CCC-SLP and Clinical/ Rehabilitative Services Credential.
