TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a passionate educator that has been teaching since 2011. I currently work at Brunswick High School (OH) and teach ninth grade language arts (college prep and honors). I have worked with a couple school systems to help provide professional development in the realm of reading education and content writing. My muses are Jim Burke, Kelly Gallagher, and Forget. More than anything, I love writing educational content for 1:1 classrooms. My medium? Google.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a huge fan of inquiry-based, 21st century learning. Much of my material is inspired by Jim Burke, Kelly Gallagher, and Forget. I work to include as many reading strategies as possible into my materials, and also fit my materials to work for paper/pencil OR completely 1:1, paperless rooms.
