TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my first year teaching! I am the 7th grade homeroom teacher at a small school in Northern California. I teach 7th and 8th grade ELA and Art, and 6th grade Social Studies. I completed my student teaching at a high school in central Virginia, working with 11th grade students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My classroom is always a mess because I use art in every subject area I teach. I love giving my students the opportunity to be creative and to surprise me with their ideas. I try to use hands-on activities to make lessons engaging and fun!
