Teaching style...hands-on, engaging, scaffolded instruction, looking for ways to integrate purposeful talk and purposeful writing...
I've presented at various local conferences and enjoy sharing my strategies with other dedicated educators! I am also a trainer for Abydos (formerly known as the New Jersey Writing Project).
Undergraduate degrees from UTSA in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Bilingual Education and Mexican American Studies with a focus in Spanish. I also have my Master's degree from UTSA in Bicultural-Bilingual Studies.
