I have been developing teaching resources since the 1980s. A trained geologist and school teacher, I have taught in K-12 schools, worked with teachers in many countries. I have written over 45 resources for organizations such as Geoscience Australia and the Geological Society of America. I lead field experiences for teachers to Hawaii, Iceland and beyond. I am the past chair of the International Union of Geological Sciences Geoscience Education and Technology Transfer Commission. I am an enthusiastic Earth science educator who loves to share resources with teachers around the globe.
I love to share my enthusiasm for Earth science by running amazing field trips (www.geoetc.com) and developing classroom activities that really work. Being a trained and experienced teacher as well as a deep understanding of Earth science has really helped me to be able to create useful classroom activities.
