TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Thirty years serving multiple roles in public education. Textbook content contributor for several major textbook companies and Differentiation "Enrichment" Consultant for several school districts.

MY TEACHING STYLE

After spending thirty years as a public educator, I am currently a "Differentiation Enrichment Consultant" in which I work with districts adding enrichment materials to their curriculum and I work for a local university supervising student teachers. Over the years I have taught 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade; as well as serving as a Curriculum Specialist, Testing Coach and finally a Gifted Specialist for many years. I worked as a contributor to major textbook companies for seven years which caused me to realize there is a lack of authentic, challenging teaching materials that require little teacher prep and offer the rigor needed to meet the depth of the curriculum standards. The resources I offer are "print and go" and ready to use in your classroom. They provide the level of rigor needed to challenge even the brightest of learners.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

"7-11 Read To Achieve Award", Campus Teacher of the Year, Jr. League of Dallas Teaching Award, Dallas ISD Innovative Teaching Award, A+ Federal Credit Union Education Grant Recipient, Round Rock ISD Community Volunteer of the Year Award, Alpha Delta Kappa Chapter President, Presenter at the New York Education and Training Conference, Southwest Regional Conference Forum Guest Speaker on "Differentiation Made Easy"
