I am a certified teacher of students with special needs. I have worked with students at all levels from Kindergarten through 12th grade. I am currently working with 11th and 12th grade students as a cooperative/co-teacher in the areas of English and US History. I have been teaching since 1995 and love my job even more now than I ever thought I could.
I believe in teaching to the varied learners in all classes. As a co-teacher it is my role to find alternative ways to teach the same skills.

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and acquired my Masters degree from Elmira College.
I have come from a diverse world. I was the child of a military family and have lived from Hawaii to North Carolina and from Texas to New York. I have lived in large cities and small towns and now work an equally diverse set of learners. I strive to reach all learners no matter how they learn or where their strengths lie.
