TEACHING EXPERIENCE

7 years teaching for the Chicago Board of Ed (2nd Grade, 4th Grade, 6th, 7th, and 8th Grades-all subjects) 1 Year in a Jewish Independent School (science and math 6th-8th grades) 30 years teaching science at a North Shore (Chicago Suburbs) independent school. (mainly K-4, but also 6th earth science and some math)

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to find labs and other activities that excite the students, and at the same time, don't involve a huge amount of preparation, nor a complicated set of materials. Much of what I have used I've created myself.
