Taught Kindergarten through 8th grades for four years before becoming a Director of Education. On the side, I independently studied and practiced traditional artwork. Then I met and married my husband, a Creative Media Director, and he inspired me to new heights, both in education and in artistic and creative media. Now I home-school my own children, blog about our activities and create enriching experiences for them through language arts.
I am a strategic thinker and planner who looks for creative ways to enrich learning. While still in college, I found that the best way to invite children to learn was to engage all their senses in the learning activities I created. This is what I still strive to achieve today.
I'm working on it! :)

After living in beautiful California and residing awhile in gorgeous Colorado, I currently live in Baltimore, Maryland with my husband and three children. My incredibly gifted husband brings his broad range of skill sets (including Photoshop, making animations and videos) to my own. Together we are stronger than by ourselves. And yes, I once had a cat named Glimmer.
