Collaborative. I love every opportunity to help adapt the Gen. Ed. curriculum for our Special Ed. students and collaborate on solutions for behavior and classroom management. I particularly love creating hands-on activities and centers for our classroom, often from recycled materials.
My school district considers me "highly qualified" and I routinely score "excellent" on yearly performance reviews. Not bad for a college drop-out, eh?
The daughter and granddaughter of teachers, I studied for a bachelor's degree in music education for three years before clinical depression inspired me to drop out of college and pursue dual careers in the exciting, fast-paced, low-wage housekeeping and childcare fields.
