Art Teaching K-12
My role as an art teacher is to develop and teach a sequential art program, which includes the basic art elements of design, art appreciation, visual awareness and creative self-expression. My students learn how to use materials traditionally, and to also take risks with their art and experiment with mediums in new ways.

“One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world” – these words inspire me to make a difference in the lives of my students. I firmly believe that everyone in my class will achieve success, which means much more than getting high scores. In my practice, I involve students in intensive academic search, which facilitates the creation of a deeper learning environment. It is very important for me to encourage students’ progress by recognizing their individual learning styles and using engaging approaches to personal and academic advancement.
