I have experience teaching all elementary grades overseas and teaching all preschool levels here in the United States. I recently earned my M.Ed. in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. I also have a strong writing background from my bachelor's degrees in English and Journalism. I am currently working as a full-time classroom teacher.
The highest goal of teaching should be to create lifelong learners. To this end, I believe in a constructivist approach to education, because learning is more meaning to students when they can shape their own experiences. I also heartily support an arts-infused curriculum to foster creativity, problem solving, and flexibility in students.

Currently, I am homeschooling my three little sprouts. I enjoy creating educational materials that I can use with my children, as it provides me with a fun, creative challenge.
