TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for more than seven years in primary and intermediate grades. Many of my products were created during the years when I was an intermediate math and science specialist teacher. After some upgrading, I now work as a special education teacher with students of many ages.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to think up activities and assignments that show students how the material learned in class can be used in their everyday life!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I won the BC Psychological Association Gold Medal during my undergraduate degree.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

My B.A. was in psychology and my B.Ed. was in elementary education with a specialization in critical thinking and inquiry. I recently completed a post-graduate certificate in special education with a focus on early literacy.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I love to go for long walks along the beach. Corny, I know!
