TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught and tutored in public and private schools for more than 30 years, grades K - 10. Skill areas have been reading, language arts, math, science, Special Education, computer skills, and teacher inservice.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Hands on and multi-sensory, project based education, focusing on individualized instruction. Use of learning centers, cooperative learning, and peer tutoring. My materials are reusable when printed on card stock.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Teacher of the Year Lubrizol Award in NorthEast Ohio in 2006, for my project raising chickens in the classroom.
