I have 9 years' experience teaching Spanish and French in a secondary (high) school in the UK. This was primarily focusing on students from 11 to 18 years old. For the last year, I have been teaching in an international school working with kindergarten and elementary age children as well as older students.
Professional feedback gained from regular observations has always been very positive about how well my students are engaged in the learning, so I must have an engaging teaching style. My students have often succeeded in national exams as well, so it must be effective as well.
I was jointly awarded the most outstanding student on my PGCE course across all subject areas during my teacher training.
I have a degree in French and Business Studies from a red brick university in the UK and I spent a year studying at a French business school. I have also learnt Spanish to pre-university level, largely through my own teaching practice.
