TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 12th year teaching, and my 6th teaching junior high. I have taught a range of students from PreAP to resource, and I love working with all learning styles and differences.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that learning should be fun when possible, but it should always be relevant--no busy work here! I have a genuine passion for sharing my love of the written word, and it is my yearly goal to be a part of each student growing as a lifelong learner.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Although I started my professional career as a Social Worker working with adults with severe mental illness, I felt called to TEACHING. I truly feel that educators are blessed with the most awesome responsibility and gift possible--having the chance to have even one moment that will impact a child forever. We are so stinkin' fortunate to have our PURPOSE sit right in front of us every day! :)
