For my first 5 years I had taught 3rd grade at a parochial school. Since then I have been teaching 4th grade for a public school system for 14 years. I earned my Master's degree in Teaching and Learning from NOVA Southeastern. I currently teach 4th grade ELA and Social Studies.
I believe that all students can learn. My classroom is welcoming and conducive to learning. I accommodate students' needs by creating lessons that leave room for differentiation. I encourage students to work together and to learn from one another. I believe that building relationships with my students is the foundation for their success.
