I have been teaching middle school and high school English Language Arts for over two decades, and experience includes everything from co-taught inclusion classes to Advanced Placement Literature and Composition. I've been all over northern Ohio and taught in public, private parochial, and not-for-profit charter schools. During my time in Cleveland, I was honored to be a part of the Ohio Project Based Assessment Pilot Project where educators from all over the state gathered in Columbus to create project based learning objectives and curriculum at a state wide level.
I love trying new and progressive ways to reach students! My methods lean toward inquiry and project based learning, and my philosophy is that the more you know about a student, the easier it is to reach him or her.
