TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 16th year of teaching. The first year included 7-12 grade English and PE. I am in my 15th year of teaching 9-12 grade English (mostly 11th grade). I teach a variety of levels: Inclusion Survey, College Survey,and Honors.

I earned an undergraduate English degree and a graduate degree in education from Marietta College.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Outside of teaching, I am a volunteer firefighter, paramedic, and highway patrol auxiliary officer. I am also a Civil War reenactor. These outside activities allow me to bring unique experiences to the classroom and help students get a different perspective as we study certain material.
