TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a teacher for six years. Most my experience is in high school, where I have taught all grade levels. Currently, I am teaching in an 7th-12th grade middle and high school, where I teach ESL/ELL, Social Studies, and English classes.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Giving a foundation of information through short notes, but then allowing the student to interact and explore the information through project-based, multiple intelligence, and/or team learning. I like emphasizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as I feel this leads to not only a deeper understanding of the material, but also a more well-rounded global citizen.
