This is my fifth year teaching 3rd grade in Illinois!
I do what works. Differentiation is huge in my classroom. It is important to me to challenge each and every student every single day. We have a lot of discussion, practice doing and teaching others in my room because research shows that these are the best avenues to promote true learning. I like to have fun, am open to new ideas and my classroom looks 'lived in' because it is. : )
I was on the President's List and Dean's List in college along with Phi Theta Kappa, an honor society for college. I maintained a 4.0 in my Master's program.
I have my Bachelor of Science in Education from Eastern Illinois University (2007) and my Master's in Teaching and Leadership from Saint Xavier University (2010).
I'm creative when it comes to teaching. I get bored doing the same thing over and over and will always attempt to re-invent the wheel. Have a great day!
