TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My career encompasses 20+ years of teaching and training. I've spent several years in corporate training, and I've taught at the junior college level. I primarily cater to secondary students, though you will see some of my materials for elementaries as well.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style may vary per the dynamics of the classroom. However, two factors remain. First, I adopt the Classical Socratic method by leaving no [relevant] question unanswered. Secondly, I incorporate the humanities into my curriculum, much as Aquinas pushed with his students. Learning should never be boring yet should always be challenging.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I've been able to incorporate several creative endeavors into my education efforts. I have won awards for editorial cartooning and short film productions. I produced an edutainment podcast for five years.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a B.A. in English from the University of Texas at Austin. I am currently halfway finished with a Master's in Education, Teaching and Learning - History from Liberty University.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Married 22 years. Two children. I try to stay fit with yoga, calisthenics and golf.
