TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I love JUNIOR HIGH! This is my first year teaching math and science at a 7th and 8th grade level and I absolutely love it! I taught language arts last year for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade and although I loved the students and the reading I feel my real niche is definitely in math and science.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like the students to have choices which can be a challenge in math but I try to mix things up as much as a can so that students can really see how fun math can be and how relevant it is to life.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have the honor of being the "weird" teacher.. gotta love middle schoolers!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in math, science, social studies, and language arts from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign! ILL- INI!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

My mom is an art teacher so I feel the need to introduce creativity into math as much as possible. She truly is an amazing teacher that I learn from and turn to everyday!
