2 years teaching 4th grade language arts, reading and mathematics in a combined 3rd/4th grade classroom. Prior to this time I was a regular substitute teacher for two years in two rural schools. My substitute teaching assignments ranged from Pre-K, Special Needs, Elementary, Middle School, and High School.
My teaching style is a work in progress! I love to listen to my students and learn from them. I try to provide instruction using as many learning modalities as possible. I enjoy learning and research. I love to share new things I have learned with my students. I believe in mutual respect in the classroom and I am dedicated to building a good relationship with each of my students.
Being entrusted to teach students every day has been the greatest honor to me. My students inspired me to go back to school for my Master's degree.

I have seven children in my home from 12 months to fifteen years of age. I have focused a great deal of time and energy over the years on finding creative solutions for ADHD in the classroom and at home from birth through age 11.
