TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My direct teaching experience is 15 years. However, I have worked with children for over 20+ years. Currently, I work in kindergarten where I have children with various backgrounds and different abilities.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach using a child centered approach. Each year my curriculum is delivered in a different manner because each year I am granted with different students. It is all about what each child brings to the classroom. Due to the fact that I work in a very diverse classroom, my teaching style is one that takes the cultural backgrounds of the students and uses their backgrounds as both a resource and a tool to educate the students. In my classroom, I create experiences that turn into memories, that last a life time.
