TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught elementary, junior high and high school English before moving into Higher Education. My background includes six years in K-12 education, five years managing a community college writing center. and six years teaching college writing. I currently teach for two different universities.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Because my background is also in writing centers and tutoring, I believe all writers will improve with personalized, one-on-one feedback that acknowledges their writing strengths first. I also believe that humor, appealing graphics, and the inclusion of pop culture help spark interest in writing.
