TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for 7 years in the United States in elementary ESOL. I also taught adult ESOL for 1 year in the United States. In addition to have taught ESOL in the States, I have my CELTA certificate through Cambridge University to teach English abroad. I lived in the Czech Republic for 9 months where I have also taught English to adults and tutored one on one. I also have my secondary history certification and have enjoyed expanding my world knowledge through travel.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Eclectic. I believe that students learn in a variety of ways and so I try my best to reach each of them. Variety is the spice of life!

I am an adoptive mother of a wonderful little boy, Jason. I also continue to work as a special needs foster parent and would like to continue adopting!
