TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught for three years in total with experience at a public high school, two public middle schools, and a public university writing/tutoring center. During my first year I was a traveling teacher at a large high school, teaching 12th grade language arts with an emphasis in British Literature. I also taught sixth grade language arts for a year and spent a semester as a Literacy Resource teacher (before budget cuts) teaching small groups of middle schoolers (grades 6-8). My last semester of teaching was at a public university, at a tutoring center for college athletes (assisting with writing skills).
