TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Throughout my teaching career, I have taught two grades. I have taught 5th grade for five years and I currently teach 4th grade making this my fourth year of teaching 4th! I have experience with helping to write curriculum, teaching an inclusion classroom, and teaching an ELA classroom during my career.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am one who believes in kids learning how to work together as a team. I have been successful with using the Whole Brain Teaching style and focus my teaching around cooperative groups within my classroom.

I am currently President of Kappa Delta Pi, an international honors fraternity for educators.
