TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching in an urban district for 7 years. I've taught 6 - 12th at different times, and am currently in a middle school.

My teaching is driven first and foremost by my vision for social justice in the classroom. I am goofy, love discoveries, games, and group activities. I ground my teaching in real-life skills and preparation.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BS in Math and a BA in Mandarin, as well as an Asian American Studies certificate and the highest honors. After five years of teaching, I received my Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Boston University. I am currently applying for a program in urban administrative leadership at the University of Connecticut.
