TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught 4th grade for two years at a private school in the Seattle suburbs. More recently I have taught 3rd grade for three years in a rural New Hampshire public school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I meet my students where they are each day, tending to follow the Responsive Classroom approach to management. I vary my approach to delivering instruction so all my students can find benefit and experience growth.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Many cards I receive from my students read, "Best Teacher EVER!"

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended Keene State College and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Architecture. I opted for a switch and got a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Southern New Hampshire University.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I live on the NH seacoast and love yoga, hiking, long walks, swimming, paddle boarding, shopping, cooking, and dining with family and friends.
