Currently, I teach third grade at a rural school district in Missouri. Previously, I was a sixth grade math and science teacher at a larger district but decided to move to a school closer to home. It's nice teaching a younger level when you know what they need to know later in their education.
I tend to be more of a facilitator than a lecturer. I like to learn with the students, so it keeps it new each and every time. The kids see my excitement, therefore becoming excited themselves!

I attended high school in a small town in Iowa. I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (1-6) with a Social Science concentration from Northwest Missouri State University. I then went on to complete my master's in Educational Leadership: Elementary Administration. I most recently added an endorsement to be a K-12 administrator.
