I have been teaching foreign languages since 1991, including German, French, and Japanese at a variety of grade levels (1-12!). I've presented at local and state conventions and have even won "Best in State." I have taken students all over Europe to bring the language to a relevant and meaningful level. My lessons are taught so that students are using the language immediately. We have a ton of fun in class while keeping it real.
The class is very interactive and exciting. Most of my students say it's their favorite class of the day - it isn't a 40 minute lecture with worksheets, and it isn't taking notes only to fill in blanks later. Students are up and moving and shouting out answers. It's controlled chaos, really; but the results are amazing!
