TEACHING EXPERIENCE

During my ten-year career as a science teacher in the state of Texas, I have taught on-level biology, honors chemistry, and Advanced Placement chemistry. Now in my eleventh year in education, I am currently teaching honors biology, anatomy and physiology and microbiology/pathophysiology at a new school. Since I am not for the moment teaching chemistry, I thought I would make other chemistry teachers' lives easier by offering the activities and ideas that have proven their worth to me as a chemistry teacher.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like for my students to be as active and engaged as possible. I like to use a lot of pair and small group work, as well as lots of labs/demonstrations.
