I have been proudly teaching for 13 years in the Houston, Texas area. I spent my first nine years teaching 7th grade and 8th grade History. I now teach Career Technology Education. I have also coached football, track, golf, and tennis, but recently made the decision to focus on family and my classroom. I have worked very hard over that time to create many resources for classroom use, and I am glad to share them with you.
I am very high energy teacher. I love to the information delivery or lecture part of teaching, but I try to make classroom as interactive as possible. My students take notes and keep assignments in a notebook that stays with them all year long.
I have served on both District Curriculum Writing, and Campus Improvement teams. I present annually at our District Wide Social Studies In-Service as well as serve a trainer during staff development on campus.
I have a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Sam Houston State University with a Minor in History. In May of 2019 I completed my Masters Degree in Educational Technology Leadership at Lamar University.
I have been happily married to a brilliant Music Teacher for 14 years. We have two wonderful children.
