TEACHING EXPERIENCE

In my 15 years teaching, I've taught all subject areas in grades 5-6, study skills and test prep in grades 1-8 and I am currently teaching English Language Arts in grades 7-8. In doing this, I am working diligently to enhance my school's PARCC scores. I also create curriculum for my district in the area of English Language Arts and have currently developed the Literature Circles Curriculum for grades 5-6 and Socratic Seminar for grades 7-8.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am the creative, hands-on, break-the-rules, fun teacher that your kids never want to leave! I am always looking for the next best thing and am not afraid of doing research, diving in, and doing the work to make my classroom that much more exciting and fun. Let me do the work for you!
