TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have a B.A in English and a minor in Spanish and secondary education. I also completed my M. Ed with a focus on special education. I have my TESOL certification and have spent 4 of my 6 years working at a high school with many non-native English speakers. I've taught 9th and 10th pre-ap, 10th grade English II, and am currently teaching Introduction to Rhetoric and Composition (a precursor to AP English Lang).

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in rigorous material, happy interactions, and high expectations. I work really hard prepping lesson plans and supporting materials for all of my students and prep for students with a modified curriculum, special education students, my struggling ELL students and my over performing students.
