TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 11 years. I love the lightbulb moment when a struggling student understands! I teach Algebra, Algebra 2, Geometry and SAT, as well as a credit recovery math class. This past year I also taught American History.

MY TEACHING STYLE

DIGITAL FRIENDLY: I try to provide as fully digital of a classroom as possible. I have been doing most everything digitally for the past 3 years. I am trying to now upload my google docs, slides and forms to help! Please let me know if you need something - specifically something Geometry as a digital form. I really believe that students need a mix to learn best. Notes are an essential part of learning, though, so there is a reference for students. I enjoy having my students do projects and activities. I like group work and partner work so students can share ideas and learn from each other. I try to find real life situations for my students to explore at least once a chapter.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I went to the University of Michigan and have 3 degrees from there (BA in history, BS in math and MA in Education).

Thank you for stopping by. I hope that you find my resources valuable. I appreciate any feedback!
