TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am an enthusiastic high school teacher in Massachusetts of urban students in grades 9-12. I have also taught drama and coached students on the sports field and these qualities and strategies are brought into my classroom as well.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a teacher who loves to have fun with his students. I firmly believe that students learn best from each other and must enjoy doing so. I think it is critical to layer everything we do in the classroom with essential skills that our students will encounter in the real world regardless of scholastic discipline; courtesy, critical thinking and analysis, strong writing mechanics, and the ability to communicate clearly. You will find these values and skills reflected in my assignments.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I am constantly honored by my students with their diligence and success on the field, in the classroom, and as they move into adult life.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I am happy to have a B.A. in History and a Master's in Urban Education.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

As stated above, I am a teacher and person who loves to have fun in and out of the classroom! I try to bring this zeal for life into every moment in the classroom and with my students.
