TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have developed educational programs for families, adults and children for the Alice T. Miner Museum in Chazy, NY, Charlotte Museum of History in Charlotte, NC, Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona, FL, including the two historic satellite sites: Old St. Augustine Village in St. Augustine, FL and Gamble Place at Spruce Creek in Port Orange, FL. I also created programs and curriculum for the Black Hills School system in South Dakota, as well as for the schools in Kulpsville and Lansdale, Pennsylvania. I developed the docent-training manual for theAlice T. Miner Museum, Gamble Place at Spruce Creek as well as the Adams Historic House Museum, and supervised docents and volunteers at these museums. I have successfully written several grants to fund educational history programs and events, as well as lectures. I have developed outreach programs for home schooled children as well as to local public schools.
