TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am an elementary special education teacher with 7 years teaching experience. For the length of my teaching career, I have taught in a diverse learning community. Often, I supplement curriculum with culturally relevant materials in order to deeply engage my students and encourage critical thinking of tangible information.

MY TEACHING STYLE

As a special educator, I have developed a multi-modal approach to teaching in order to meet the needs of various types of learners. I also design student-driven lessons that promote cooperative learning, critical thinking, and communication.
