TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching since 1999, most recently as a High School Social Studies teacher in the Denver area, starting in 2003. My first teaching experience teaching was as an English teacher in Austria. Next up was teaching European History to undergraduates at the University of Michigan. My course experience includes: US History IB European History AP European History AP Psychology World Civilizations Intro to Psychology Civics

MY TEACHING STYLE

I aim for mostly student-led instruction. Thus, even my lectures generally include interactive activities and are often followed by some sort of discussion or cooperative activity. I also usually have video clips/music/art etc included in the power points that I use.
