I have been working in an inner-city district in western Pennsylvania for 11 years. I did a lot of subbing in inner-city districts, taught kindergarten for 5 years and am going into my 6th year in 2nd grade. I love my job and try to create products that are relevant in my classroom.
I try to have as much hands on activities and student centered activities as possible.
