TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am an 8th grade English Language Arts teacher. I began my career in 2012 and love my job.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am both organized and easy going. I teach my students how to engage in close reading, show evidence in their writing, write both creatively and technically, and have pride in their work.

I received my Bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University in 2011 and my Master's degree from Maryville University in 2015. I am certified K-9 self-contained; 5-8 English Language Arts; K-12 Fine Arts; and K-12 Gifted Education.
