TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I love teaching drawing and design fundamentals at the Art Institute of Austin. --- August 2009 to the Present --- I teach foundations courses and life drawing. I developed comprehensive final assessments for the Foundations Department, and I serve on Faculty Development Committee. + At the Art Institute Online, Art Institute of Pittsburgh I facilitated online art courses in drawing, life drawing, and color theory for 5 years. + I was the Austin Museum of Digital Art Education Director fromOctober 2003 - December 2004.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is to facilitate a dynamic classroom learning community with interactive game and group activities as well as project-based-learning projects that develop responsibility and professional communication skills as well as fuel confidence in drawing and design.
