TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 16 years now. The first 12 years were spent running the Primary Library and teaching PSHE to Grades K through 3 (Years 1 - 4 in the British system) The last 4 years have been spent in a Grade 3 (Year 4) classroom.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Relaxed and laid back. I want my students to love to come to school and to be excited about their learning. I like the students to take ownership of the classroom and encourage them to create all their own displays - from Grammar posters to interactive Math displays to 3-D four-foot dioramas of the Aztec civilization. Hands on learning is my passion.
