I discovered my love for music at the age of nine when I attended my very first piano lesson. This love blossomed and grew under the tutaledge of Ms. Rebecca Bonam until, in 2006, I set off to pursue a music degree at Pensacola Christian College. After four years of intense study, under the tutelage of Dr. Pitagoras Gonçalves, I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano Pedagogy. I immediately started work on my Master’s Degree while teaching piano and strings at the college. In 2012 I graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Music Education with a Piano Proficiency.
I firmly believe in quality over quantity. My goal has always been to give each student a solid foundation in music theory, performance, technique, and artistry as well as a love for the music that they desire to play.
Guild Judge, NCPT
Spent 3 years under the tutelage of Rebecca Bonam B.A. Piano Pedagogy (2010) & M.S. Music Education - Piano Proficiency (2012) from Pensacola Christian College.
Since opening my own studio in 2013, I have created a unique curriculum for my students. This curriculum includes a primer – beginner method book, elementary supplemental books, and early intermediate supplemental books that are based on my Siberian Husky, Vala. The fun, music-loving husky leads each student through the basics of theory and piano technique while visiting far off places such as: Egypt, China, Russia, etc. To further inspire my students, I have also created extracurricular activities including: Piano Club, an Annual Studio Tournament, and Repertoire.
