I am a wife/mother/teacher, living in beautiful Colorado. I have over 10 years experience in education, as well as a degree and experience in business. I have worked in both private, and charter schools. In the beginning of my career, I worked as a substitute for grade levels K-8. This helped for me to see many different teaching styles as well as needs, to taylor my resources with maximum impact for the teacher, student, and parent team.

I hold two degrees, one in Elementary Education and the other in Business Administration. I am a wife and mother, with two of our three boys out on their own now. Being a mom has helped for me to see the needs of connecting parents, students, and teachers. Several of my resources will help you bridge that gap, too. I do not believe in homework for students, as family time in the evenings is more important. I expect for my students to give 100% during the day, and recharge at night. I hope you might consider that, too.
Huckle Buckle Blueberry comes from fond memories of one of my children's teachers. She was so kind, so full of joy. She would play a game in her classroom called Huckle Buckle Blueberry, a hide and seek challenge for added fun. When a student saw the hidden figure, they would say the phrase "Huckle Buckle Blueberry". I carried this into my classroom, and it was always a hit. I used a LEGO figure, who was built to look like me, as our figure to hide. My goal is for my students to leave my classroom with a heart full of sweet memories, and a head full of knowledge and confidence.
